Nelsons Outdoor Resort, formerly known as Nelsons Fish Camp, has been a Central Florida fishing destination since the 1950s, located in Umatilla, FL. Our Marina has access to the Ocklawaha River which leads to the Harris Chain of Lakes. Nelsons is an RV Park and Mobile Home Park. We have lots open for New long term Residents who want to move a Park Model or Mobile Home into Nelson's. We have many Rentals available for long term occupancy.

Black Panther Sighting
A Black Panther was sniffing around the mailbox area! Since were located next to the Ocala National Forest - we do get unique visitors from time to time. Remember to keep your Camera ready.
I saw a black panther in my sub-division last Wed. I was only 25 yards away when it ran past me from a canal area, accross the street and behind a home. It was smaller than my Greyhound but black or dark brown and the stride and long was the 1st thing I noticed as a watched. It was beautiful. I reported it to our coummunity but no other reports have come in.
WE ARE BUILDING RIGHT OFF A CANAL ACROSS FROM NELSONS FISH CAMP IN OCKLAWAHA AND ONE MORNING LAST WEEK WE SAW A BLACK PANTHER IN THE BACK YARD.
